On Sunday August 5, 2007 friends Marie Tavernini, Greg Williams, Peggy Meiklejohn, Diane Farhat and Sam Markman traveled via Amtrak to Philadelphia's Penn Station.
We took a quick cab ride to the Rittenhouse Hotel - luxurious (and pricey.)
That Sunday afternoon, we walked to the Tut Exhibit at the Franklin Institute. No photography was allowed in the King Tut Exhibit.
Sunday evening we dined at Lacroix Restaurant in the Rittenhouse, one of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia as it turned out.
On Monday, we visited Independence Hall. We departed from Penn Station late Monday after a late afternoon meal and drink at Society Hill.
Sam Markman Photography is my Home Page and starting point to view other photos on this WEB site.
