On December 19, 2009 Alexandria Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region experienced one of its most intense snow storms ever recorded for the month of December.

These are images taken on a walk from North Old Town to King Street and returning along the Potomac River.

Great shots, Sam. Old Town is much prettier in snowfall than the West End where I live. The only photos I could get were of my street, driveway, and Seminary Road. Not very exciting!!
