This is the itinerary of our cruise aboard the Grand Princess.
On September 10, 2008, friends Janet Summers, George Sacclaris, Larry Winfield, Becky Fehrs,Diane Farhat and I flew to Rome to begin a 12-night cruise of the Mediterranean.
Upon landing in Rome, we traveled to Civitavecchia just northeast of Rome to board the Grand Princess on Thursday, September 11.
Larry, Becky, Diane and I stayed an additional three nights in Venice at the conclusion of the cruise. In Venice, we stayed at the Hotel Galleria near the Academia Bridge over the Grand Canal.
